IOWA AG EXPO--2022

If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in the safety of your land. (NIV) (Leviticus 26: 3-5)

MARCH--2022

My View for the Month: IOWA AG EXPO-2022 --This great event is much more than just a farm show.  I think it is also a tribute to Iowa farmers and all people associated with the agriculture industry. I have attended many farm shows throughout the years and I am always amazed at the improvements in farm technology. It doesn't stop there! I am even more amazed at the character traits of our Iowa farmers. The farm shows are a way for me to re-connect with others who share my "love of the land." We also share a common interest of feeding a hungry world. That is why I am so thankful for our Iowa (American) farmers who are willing to make the huge time-money investments required to keep the wheels turning in our agriculture industry.

It doesn't feel like spring in Iowa with cold winds and near zero temps. But farmers are chomping at the bit to get in the fields. It is obviously too early to plant--but not too early to plan. So this week, February 01-03, 2022, Iowa farmers and others with agriculture related jobs flocked to Des Moines to the Iowa Events Center for the Iowa Ag Show-2022.. So a farm boy like me was in my hay day as I sought out every nick and cranny. I will show you just a few of the many agriculture related things I saw today.
