My View for the Month: This is a cover photo of my 2023 calendar (distributed by VanWall Implement) that hangs on my office wall. This year's calendar theme is "A Day at the Office". Each month there is a short story reminding us that a farmers office, unlike mine, is more than a room with four walls. Whether it be working with his/her highly technical computer systems inside his climate controlled cab or gathering up his livestock in the heat, cold, wind and storms--his office is there. So the next time I am sitting on my comfortable office chair, this calendar will be a reminder for me. I will thank the Iowa farmer for taking his office with him wherever he may be. After all, his hard work and wise decisions put food on the table for me. Yet, it goes way beyond that--he is providing food for hungry people around the world! Now that's what I call a good "Day at the Office"!
