PIGNON

RETURN TO HOMEPAGE>>>>

If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness and your gloom be as noonday. (ESV) (Isaiah 58: 10)

The Creekside Church Haiti Mission Team traveled to Pignon, Haiti, October 26-November 10, 2022. I didn't go, but I felt like I was right there with them! The photos are courtesy of team members.

Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, just can't seem to catch a break. Right this very minute this beautiful country is plagued with such a difficult situation. Government on the national level has long been very corrupt, but now it is almost nonexistent. The people of Haiti are faced with extreme poverty, unemployment, disease, and absence of basic survival needs. I could go on and on, but I'm going to stop here as I fast forward my thoughts toward a future of survival and hope for these dear people. It is going to take more than a village! It is going to take the combined efforts of all of us to make this happen. That is why I am so thankful for people like the Creekside Church Haiti Mission Team. They stepped up to travel to Pignon, Haiti, knowing they were confronted with so many challenges. The team's work projects were combined with teaching, training and proclaiming the love of Jesus. It was such a blessing to so many people.
