This has beem a great college basketball season for Iowa. Congratulations to Iowa Hawkeye men and women, Iowa State Cyclone men and women, and Drake Bulldog men and women, for going to the NCAA.

The Iowa Hawkeye Women's Basketball Team has made some exciting news the past couple of weeks. Standout guard Caitlin Clark, was named the Naismith National Player of the year, the AP Player of the year, and the Big Ten Player of the year. But it was a team effort--the whole team was outstanding. All of them came to play every game, but Seniors Monika Czinano and McKenna Warnock will graduate and be greatly missed next season. This was the first year any Iowa team has gone beyond final four in the NCAA Tournament. The Hawks came up short in the final game. But the entire team and Coach Lisa Bluder and her coaching staff handled it with dignity, They made Iowa proud!
