My View for the Month: The Des Moines Concours is a classy event featuring a variety of classic unmodified collectible automobiles. These vehicles are a beauty to behold and a compliment to the history of the American automobile industry. The cars at this exhibit must meet a strict criteria to qualify for this event. They are not souped up hotrods--they are the real thing. AUTOS AND ART - I chose that title for this page for a twofold reason: (1) I think the vehicles at this display are a work of art (2) What better setting could there be for this auto show than the John and Mary Papajohn Sculpture Park! AUTOS AND ART

AUTOS AND ART: The Concours d'Elegance took place in downtown Des Moines, September 11, 2022. Classic collectible automobiles lined the entire perimeter of the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park.
