I was going to include this in my fair blog page, but I decided this is a big deal and deserves special recognition with a page of its own.The Iowa State Fair is more than just having fun. Here is an example--good people doing good things. This Habitat for Humanity Home is being built at  the fairgrounds by volunteers during the 10 day run of the Iowa State Fair, 2022. Nearly 400 volunteers will have the privilege of taking part in this very important project. Next week the finished home will be moved to it's permanent location in the 500 block of East 27th St. This beautiful building will be A NEW HOME for a needy family. This is so Iowa--people sharing their time and resources with those in need.
