I love fall in Iowa and I usually take a long hike through an Iowa park or a nature reserve to enjoy colors of the season. Well, that didn't happen this year, but I did take a walk right here in our neighborhood. All of the photos on this page are from a single stroll around one block adjacent to our home. These pics probably wouldn't win a photo prize, but they are meaningful to me so I decided to share them with you. You know me--so you already have guessed--there is more to the story. It reminds me to be thankful I can continue to enjoy God's great creation manifested in the simple things of life, wherever I might be. I am also thankful for each of you and wish you a blessed Thanksgiving.
