A new mini-park, by the entrance of Waveland Golf Course, at 49th and University ,was introduced this month. I can't really describe it, but this little park is worth the stop to see-so I hope you check it out. The plaques and signboards provide a lot of Des Moines history going back to 1881. That is when the first streetcar in the city made the turn on the Waveland Trolley Loop.
