My View for the Month; I show you a lot of art and sculptures around Iowa, but this one, titled, Woven Lines, is very unique, so I thought it needs a page of it's own. It is located on the roundabout at 1st Ave. & 9th St., Altoona, Iowa. Here artist Aaron T Stephan told his story by twisting together actual guard rails that represent Altoona's strong sense of community. Personally, I think roundabouts can be a pain. This one reminds me to be ON GUARD when I negotiate that pesky circle. But seriously it might go beyond that. It might remind me to be ON GUARD when I negotiate the twists and turns of my daily life.
