I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone. Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me O God, til I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.(NIV) (Psalm 71: 16-18)

This month marks the 20 year anniversary of Views of a Farm Boy. (January 2006-January 2026.) I decided to observe this occasion by showing you a randomly picked archive photo and telling you a short story related to that photo as I reflect back over each of those years. I have tried to keep my messages positive and upbeat--so this month is a little sad for me. I turned 93 years old this year and I just can't jump in my truck and head out on road trips like I have in the past, Therefore, this is my last MONTHLY edition of Views of a Farm Boy. But I am not quite ready to call it quits so I will share some special occasions from time to time in the future.

2019--Welcome Home Soldier Monument west of Albia. This makes all Iowa and all America proud.

2024--The beauty of God's handy work is beyond description. This magnificent old tree is in Ewing Park.

2025--A day in a small Iowa town is one of my joys in life. Today was "bonus day." We were there when this new wall mural was unveiled.
