EDITORIAL: Our country and the world has maneuvered through dark days the past few months--but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully, the new virus vaccines will be that light--but we are not there yet. We need to continue to follow the advice of the health care experts by continuing to practice social distancing and wear face coverings. This should be accompanied with frequent hand washing and other routine personal care procedures. If I were still a pharmacist, I would include that with every patient counseling. I really believe we are not just protecting our own health, but we are protecting others. What an easy, yet tangible way to show we love our neighbors. I usually try to bring you the upbeat things, but didn't I promise you light at the end of the tunnel? So, if we all do our part to protect ourselves and others--I see bright days ahead.
