STORMS NEVER LAST
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be on the vines; the labour of the olive three shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. (KJV) (Habakkuk 3: 17,18)

My View for the Month: I pretty much restrict my blog to the good things, then I decided there is a "good" thing here. This photo (above) is a neighbors's back yard shortly after a tornado moved through our area July 15, 2024. This started about at our house (our roof was destroyed and we lost two big trees.) The damage to other homes extended for about two blocks. In my digital music, I have a song by country artist Waylon Jennings (now deceased) and his wife, Jessi Colter. It is titled "Storms Never Last." Actually. I wasn't having my best summer so this song encouraged me to put this all together as I continue on life's journey. Now look (below) at this beautiful new fence. I am reminded that's the way life is. As I look toward the future I have no idea what is ahead, but I am reminded, "STORMS NEVER LAST".
AFTER THE STORM
A NEW BEGINNING
