What a great way to spend a summer day at the Iowa State Fairgrounds! The National Power Round Up brought many International Harvester tractor collectors together to show their beautiful machines. I loved the parade, but it was also fun to walk around and get up-close to look at and talk to the owners of all of this red stuff.

Sometimes when you are seeing red--you are actually seeing yellow. I searched the internet to find out why a few International tractors are painted yellow, but I couldn't find much. I am sure they have the same great features and the same power--but somehow it just doesn't seem right to me. Maybe this is one of those great mysteries of life we really do not need to know!
