MAY--2026

Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who trust in the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.(ESV) (Isaiah 40: 30.31)

JUST TRUCKIN

Views of a Farm Boy--Dedicated to promote Iowa agriculture and Iowa values

Memories are what I do best. As a little western Iowa farm boy I spent many hours playing with with my toy trucks at a natural sand bank down in the woods. Time flies! Now as an old man I still like trucks. I took these truck photos during the past six months as I was out on my morning walks. (Disclaimer--the "road pics" are free photos I borrowed from the internet.) Wait- there is room in the passenger seat so jump in and ride along with me.

I have discovered people like pictures or stories they can identify with. After looking at the photos above, I hope each of you will find something that has made your day a little brighter.  My computer search told me "JUST TRUCKIN" (or "keep on truckin") means to keep moving forward, persevere, or continue with your daily life despite difficulties. It implies persistence, similar to "keeping on" or "hanging in there." I am trying to apply that to my daily life--so  every day is a good day as I keep truckin along!
