A GOLF story! This is much more than art on our hall wall--this painting is jam packed with memories from days past. As you know--I am a great proponent of lifetime participating sports so I am excited to tell you this story. Jeannine started playing golf when she was a teenager in high school. She played with friends for many years and didn't really slow down until age 90. In recent years she had two holes-in-one. This is an accomplishment many golfers just dream about. I think what is really important is not the hours she spent playing golf--it is the countless friendships she developed during those years. In fact, one of her golfing friends painted the picture above. Note: You don't see me in this picture--I'm out on my bike!!!!!

A HOME story! Many of you probably have something similar to this on your front door wall, This one was made by our daughter Darcy. (So for me, this is a special work of art.) This month I have shown you just a few things that hang on our home walls. But hey, gimme a break! I didn't have any day-trip adventures  to share this month so I am reliving memories from the past. Now here is your homework! Walk around your own home and look at what is on your walls. I think the memories will brighten your day.
