The Fallen Officer Memorial was dedicated today, May 17. 2019, to honor the 24 Des Moines police officers who have died in the line of duty. It is located in the front lawn of the Des Moines Police Station at E. 1st and Court Ave. There is a blue paving stone (among the black) for each of the fallen officers.
We continue to thank our police and firefighters who daily risk their lives to protect ours.
